EDOP Quicklook Images
Quicklook images of reflectivity and Doppler are derived from the Universal Format (UF) data files which are segmented into straight and level flight tracks. These images are preliminary so reflectivity calibrations and accuracy of Doppler velocities are being examined and improved. Not all artifacts have been removed from the images. The most obvious is the "second trip" echo at about 15 km altitude resulting from the ER-2 echo in the next pulse. Also, the data in the images have not been referenced to the surface or to sea level.

EDOP Reflectivity ASCII Files
These files are subsampled in time and range such that samples are provided every 5 seconds along-track and 75 meters in the vertical. A web site is being set up for distributing ASCII files for individual flight legs. Documentation for these files can be found in the documentation directory.
EDOP
Binary Files
These files are in Universal Format and contain the full reflectivity and Doppler data set. Documentation for these files can be found in the documentation directory. These files are large, ranging from 10-100 MB per flight leg. To obtain files, please peruse our quicklooks to determine cases you may be interested in. Upon identification of such cases, please contact us at EDOP and we will arrange the best possible method of data delivery.
